Approach
We collaborated through Marketing Consultant Annabelle Lawrence who provided a detailed and comprehensive brief. To respond, we prepared a PDF that walked through our full creative process, from initial research to concept development, so the consultant and client could see our thinking and highlight opportunities along the way. There were six presentations over the process for the logo alone, to ensure our client was satisfied and confident in the development and final logos. Our initial process combined market research with the key requirements outlined in the brief, ensuring our ideas were both strategic and aligned with the client’s vision. Although timing meant we couldn’t present in person, we maintained open communication throughout, making sure all feedback, views, and opinions were listened to and incorporated.
The Solution
We delivered a full branding package tailored for the children’s leisure market. This included a new logo design, shop signage, “opening soon” posters, and colour schemes for the exterior of the centre. Each element was created to be vibrant, engaging, and child-friendly, setting the tone for the brand. The designs were custom-built to reflect the brief while also standing out from standard soft play branding, giving the client a distinctive and memorable identity.
The Results
The project moved quickly, with creative work beginning in May and the new soft play centre successfully launching in July. The fresh branding and marketing materials created strong early traction, helping the client build excitement in their community. Within the first month of opening, their social media following grew to over 1,000, providing a solid platform for ongoing engagement and customer growth.
